I bet I'm not the only one who is confused by the myriad of health bills I receive--the bills are complex to understand as our the prices for services. This week, however, I'm going to sit down and untangle that mess which means I'll need to make a lot of phone calls, and typically those phone calls take a lot of time to get to the right person, address my questions, and then wait for an answer.
Many simply pay a medical bill or avoid it simply because it does not make sense and they don't have the time for hours and hours of phone time, but at this juncture, I'll try to figure out what's going on and make some sense of what I believe a system that's complex, in part, to keep the public confused.
