There are countless ways to update your lifestyle so that you live in healthier, happy ways. How does this happen?

Similarly as I join a host of outdoor enthusiasts, I'm observing the kinds of clothes they wear, equipment they use, and trail-finding/making ways they engage in to update my outdoor adventures in healthy, happy ways.
Observation and mimicking the more modern, healthier, enjoyable activities of others, helps us to update our ways.
People
Engaging with a wide variety of people also helps you to update your ways positively. When you reach out and spend time with people of all ages, multiple lifestyles, and varied interests, you have ready resources for updating the way you live. This is good and positive for the many healthy, happy paths you might travel.
Places
Exploring new places also helps you to update your lifestyle. When you visit new places near or afar, you have the choice to be attuned to how that place works and what that place offers with respect to healthy, happy living. Then you can essentially bring home those ideas. For example, on a recent visit to a beautiful seacoast town, I noticed many ways that gardens were updated with both beauty and practicality. I want to copy some of those ideas in my own backyard garden.
Good lives are always evolving with an eye on positive modernization while retaining the best of our traditions and lifeways passed down over decades. It is not one way or the other, but a good balance of old and new. How will you update your life for the better in the days to come? What balance of old and new will you strike? That's a question I'm asking myself.
