There are moments in life that matter--these moments are significant because they represent what you truly look for and value. For each of us those moments are probably both similar and different.
Moments that matter often include people and activities we love--these moments find us appreciating the people, places, events, and objects around us. Sometimes these moments are the result of hard work, a good plan, meaningful contribution, or right-directed service.
There are also moments in life that matter, but may be challenging from start to finish. We may not want to engage in those moments, but we know it is the right thing to do, and we push ourselves in that direction, we do the right thing even though it's not easy or inviting.
As I think about the days ahead, I am thinking about the moments that matter, and how I might be more present and engaged in those moments. Onward.
