I test the waters a lot.
I dip my toe in, scan the landscape, and then decide which way to go.
Often as I begin to test, I think I'll go in one direction, but then after testing the water and scanning the landscape around me, I end up moving in a different direction.
Prior to retiring from teaching, my daily life was very predictable in many ways, but now, there is a more opportunity for serendipity and new adventures. I'm excited about this.
I'll continue to test the water, explore the paths that call me, and make the best possible decisions at every fork in the road. Onward.
