Sometimes our inability to succeed at long range goals lies in our ability to set and achieve right-sized short term goals. I thought about that today as I continue to work towards reaching a few big life goals. I realized that I have to spend some time rethinking the short term goals that will help me get there. The short term goals I set were too vague and not specific enough so attainment was murky at best. How can I better that?
I will make day-long and week-long short term goals that are more specific, goals that include time/quantity numbers that are both achievable and rightly challenging. I believe this will help me to reach the long term goals in the end. Onward.
