I have wishes for everyone alive, and these are my wishes.
- I wish for you a loving home and community.
- I wish for you access to the basic needs of a good home, clean environment, nutritious food, safety, health care, education, and adequate income.
- I wish for you the joy of finding the people, places, and activities you love
- I wish for you contribution--the focus on doing well for others and your community
- I wish for you the ability to acknowledge that when you feel anger, hate, sadness, it is a wake-up call to look deeper, see differently, and make positive, life-affirming change
- I wish for you the opportunity to know many different people and respect and learn from whom they are and the ways they live
To me, these wishes should be the center of the work we do as a people to uplift lives, make a better world.
