Turning a corner

There are those life spots when you know that you are turning a corner. That's where I'm at today--my husband and I are turning a corner, and we're not really sure where the road ahead leads, but we're confident that we'll travel that road with as much love and care as possible.

Where are we?

Our children are young adults leading their lives. My parents are elderly and stil doing what they can to live a strong, positive life. My many, many relatives are turning corners like we are--our children are grown, our careers are nearing their end, at their ends, or changing, and our focus is family-centric for the most part.

At this time, I want to embrace the best that life has to offer--the natural beauty, good relationships, contribution, and care. We are grateful at this corner; grateful for all the good living we've experienced. We're open to the next steps ahead.
