Respond with grace

Life finds us at all kinds of unexpected places, and the intermingling of events at one time or another also poses new scenarios, challenges, and opportunities. As I approach the days ahead, what do I want to remember.

  • There is no contest when it comes to love, to be loving in any way you can is always a good direction.
  • Listening is a great art and gift -- learn to listen as well as you can.
  • Natural beauty is inspiring and a gift to the best of whom we can be--embrace that beauty and immerse yourself in it.
  • Service to one another is what makes a good life. Find ways to positively serve one another.
  • We will not always exist in harmony. Accept the conflict that naturally occurs--give it time, find the meaning in it, grow from it, and never wish ill will or injustice to those you experience conflict with, instead wish for their best lives and good living.
  • Be the best that you can be for yourself and others.
  • See energy as the great gift that it is and as I read yesterday "steward that energy" with attention and care.
  • Be honest and truthful, humble and kind.
  • Live simply--leave room in life to be present when needed in meaningful ways.
  • You don't have to have all the answers
Onward.
