I like to have good times to look forward to, and typically to afford those good times, I have to plan ahead. As I look out to the 2021-2022 year, I've planned a number of good times, the kinds of times that power me through the hard work and challenging days.
September: Dinners with friends and families, hikes outdoors, projects
October: Family celebrations, athletic events, travel
November: More sports events, Thanksgiving, Christmas preparations
December: Sister weekend, Christmas parties, New Year's Eve
January: More sports events, family travel
February: Sports events
March: Travel with my husband
April: Garden start, outdoor adventures
May: Graduations
June: Gardening, outdoor adventures
July: Family reunions at the beach and in the mountains
August: Outdoor adventures, birthday/anniversary dinners
I'm sure the year will be filled with surprises that change these plans somewhat, but having a sketch of the year to come helps me to stay positive and connected. Onward.
