In the past four months I've made some significant progress on a big goal that I have. There's still a lot of work to do, but the progress so far was the result of the following actions:
- I hired a coach to help me--the coach had the expertise I needed and held me accountable
- I changed a number of life patterns to better support my goal
- I gave myself the time needed to reach the goal
- I enlisted the support of loved ones who were able and willing to support me
- I followed a fairly good routine making parts of the goal automatic
- I utilized a few online tools to track my progress, efforts
At this juncture, while happy with my progress, it's time for another reset as to achieve this goal will take me a good year still. What do I need to do?
- Continue to change lifeways to better support the goal--there are still some practices I need to adopt.
- Remake the weekly schedule--it's time to revisit the weekly schedule and make it better
- Continue my work with the coach
- Replace less positive ways with more positive ways
As is common with most of my vision for life, this goal is taking longer than expected, but I'll stick to the path. Onward.
