Often, in life, we are unaware of the mysteries that surround us. We go about our daily routine without much recognition of that which we cannot predict or know. Yet, there are other times when life's mysteries stare us in the face leaving us clearly cognizant of that which we don't know--the mysteries that lay before us.
How do we face life's mysteries? What do we do when we don't know what's ahead?
Values
Focus on your values--what really matters to you, and make sure you are living with your values at the helm.
Do what you can
When you face mystery about what will happen in circumstances, it is important to do what you can to make a situation as good as it can be.
Accept what is out of your control
The mystery of life in many ways makes us confront situations that are out of our control. Once we've done all that we can, we then have to graciously and humbly give into life's forces that are greater than us. If we can, it's good to derive some meaning from times like these. Though, that's not always possible.
Be glad for the good that you've done and the good you've experienced in others and elsewhere
Past good helps us to weather the mysteries of life--looking back often gives us strength during times of uncertainty.
