No let down

With most good times, there's a let down--the time after a big event where you are sad to see the event end. Yet, in this post wedding day, rather than a let down, I feel very excited since my son and daughter-in-law's wedding filled me great hope and happiness for the days to come. The couple's love, the beautiful setting, the joy and happiness of the guests, the poignant words spoken during the ceremony, vows and toasts, and the enthusiastic dancing were evidence to me that people can rise and create moments of joy and happiness for one another.

As noted during the celebratory weekend's Welcome Party, the couple's love was the result of the love of thousands--it is not one moment in time that leads us to be loving people, but instead, it is the warmth, care, joy and commitment that create loving experiences, families, friendships and focus.

So, rather than a let down, I'm inspired and ready to promote more loving times like the one we experienced this weekend. Onward.
