Short term goals

How short should a short term goal be--one hour, one day, one week, one month, one year? I've been experimenting with the timing of goals, and it seems that the more difficult the goal, the better it is to have a goal that is short in time.

This week I'm trying two one-week goals. For one, I'm at day two and for the other, day three. It's a good week for goals since the schedule is less busy and more open. That leaves time to pay attention to what I need to do to achieve these goals. I like that.

In a week, I'll revisit those goals and set the focus for the following week. In teaching, learning and achieving, goal time frames are important. With tough goals, aim for success with one short-term goal after another. Onward.
