We all get crabby and cranky from time to time. There are all kinds of reasons why this happens. You may not feel well; you might work in oppressive conditions; family members may be ill; you may face financial challenges; or you could be facing a personal problem you simply cannot solve. Whatever the reason, crankiness and crabiness can creep into your life in somewhat quiet and unexpected ways.
When this happens, what can you do?
First, get some rest--a lot of times exhaustion is the root of great crankiness and crabiness.
Next, consider the depth of crankiness and crabiness that has infiltrated your life and the effect that is having on your relationships and happiness. Generally once you become very cranky or crabby, you start to repel people rather than attract them.
And, see what you can take off your plate. Being overwhelmed truly affects your mood--it's not good to be overwhelmed.
When we face crabby, cranky people, it's good to take a few minutes to listen and figure out what's going on. Then see if you can help out at all. Perhaps the people need space or greater support--see what you can do to lessen their load and lift that cranky, crabby mood.
Don't let crabby, cranky emotions and actions get in the way of good living--figure out what's happening and seek the support you need to find the happiness you deserve.
