Don't get discouraged

As Senators Joe Manchin, Kristin Sinema and their Republican colleagues hold the country hostage as they obstruct modernization and greater humane policies and efforts to better the way we live today and into the future, there is the temptation to get discouraged. Discouragement, however, will do no one any good.

How do we fight back from our positions as common folk--what can we do?

Learn all we can

The more we know, the better we can advocate for what is right and good. Sinema, Manchin, Republican Leaders and their many self-serving benefactors rely on an ignorant population when it comes to their self-serving decisions and leadership--we have to counter that by being as informed as we can be.

Live by your values

It is important to take the time to think about what you value and why regularly. It is the hope of self-serving leaders that we are unsure of our values so they can easily manipulate us.

Ethics matter

Live in ways that are ethical, right and good.

Support the good

Find ways to support the good wherever and whenever you can.

Rather than get discouraged, act for the greater good -- find ways to do what is right and good to better life for yourself and others. Onward.
