Recalibrate

 A weekend away always clears my mind and makes me want to recalibrate my direction ahead. These getaways make me ask the questions: What can I do to better my lifeway? How can I redirect my actions to better meet my goals? 

This weekend I realized that one tangent I explored last week was misdirected--it isn't where I should go or be at this time. Though tempting for multiple reasons, following that path would greatly compromise my time and energy for efforts that are a better direction right now. So I cancelled my plans to follow that tangent and now I'm relooking at life's roadmap and pushing myself down a few arduous, but meaningful, trails that I know are necessary right now.

Care

As I focus on care for loved ones, I want to be attuned to their needs and desires. What can I do to help them live good lives? I'll be thinking about that in the next few weeks and redirecting my efforts in that direction. 

Health

So much of popular society today actually directs us away from healthy living so to be healthy one has to fight those waves of unhealthy behavior that exist. I'll work to make my life as healthy as possible since good health translates to good energy and good energy is necessary with regard to meeting the goals you have set. 

Knowledge

To get to the next step in life, there is a lot that I have to learn thus I'll make considerable time for reading and learning in a variety of ways. 

Simplicity

I'll continue my lifelong quest to simplify my life in ways that buy me greater time, energy and capacity to live in harmony with my values and vision.
