In one area of life, I stepped into a leadership role early on. I saw a need and I responded. I enjoyed that leadership role and did the best I could with it, but now it's time to retire as leader and take on the follower role. What does this mean?
Listen to the leader(s)
In my new follower role in this aspect of life, I'll listen and observe well. I want to understand my position well and do what I can to support the leaders--people I love and respect.
Observe and lend support
As recommended on a tweet this morning, I want to "drink it in" by observing all that occurs, contributing as I can and enjoying the events.
There's room in life for us to lead and for us to follow. it is good to understand what our roles are and to then do waht we can to either lead or follow well.
