The majority of us will not move the world in big, glamorous, notable ways, but all of us can continually fill our lives with small acts of kindness that make life better. Starting the day with the question, What good will you do today?, is one way to direct your days in ways that are kind and helpful.
Also, if we preach kindness, we have to make sure that our acts are truly kind and loving. Sometimes people can get caught in traps of completing acts of kindness that may look or sound good, but in truth lack the heart, sensitivity and motives that truly makes the actions kind and helpful. It is essential that we make the time to listen to those in our lives so we know what will truly be helpful and loving to them. Too often people may project what others need rather than make the time to find out what is truly needed.
We can always deepen and better focus the way we are kind and loving and as we do that, we will find that we get better and better at being the loving people we want to be. Onward.
