Who do you want to be on Christmas 2022

The days after Christmas are good days for reflection about the year ahead. It's a good time to ask yourself, Who do you want to be on Christmas 2022? As I zero in on that question, more questions arise:

  • In what ways will I be a loving person? How will that love be displayed? Who will be the recipient of my love and loving ways--what will that look like in words, attitude and actions?
  • What will my home be like? What might change and why?
  • What kind of energy will I have, and how will I use that energy?
  • What 2021 traditions will be repeated and what new traditions will I add to the mix of holiday events and cheer?
  • What lifeways will be retired, minimized and purposely left behind?
  • What surprises will happen, and how will I react to those surprises?
We can't fully predict what the year ahead will be like, but we can set our sites on goals we'd like to attain, people we want to care for and love, and work we want to do. Overall, my goals remain similar.

Family and friends

I want to nurture my family and friend relationships in open minded, flexible, positive ways.

Lifelong learning

I want to tackle the books that await reading and reflection. I'm wondering how those books will change my life.

Health

I want to commit to as much healthy living as possible.

Contribution

I want to do what I can to contribute to a good world.

Simplicity

I want to live a simple life.

Meeting my 2022 aims will depend on good communication, care and a positive loose-tight routine. Onward.
