We all know people who find fault rather than goodness in most situations. We may fall into that category too. Do we see the world wth a more positive mindset or a mostly negative mindset?
It is natural for us to project our mindsets and experiences on others as we make sense of their stories and actions. If we're seeing the world through a negative lens, we'll likely see the negative, and if we are seeing the world via a positive lens, we will see the silver linings in almost any situation.
There have been times in life when I've been critical of situations only to learn later on that I judged too quickly or too harshly. My life experiences hindered my ability to see all aspects of those situations.
Now, with the knowledge that most situations are far more complex than what we see, I mostly reserve judgement, and take on a curious attitude instead. Quickly findng fault is a mostly dead-end approach to life's many scenarios.
