Tradition/Routine: Create, partake in and revise as needed

Today, now past a mild COVID infection, I'll return to a typical routine, a routine somewhat revised due to life's many changes. As I think of today's efforts, I'm thinking about how we'll make the next month a happy, healthy month given the reality of winter weather, COVID spread, multiple celebrations and many other positive as well as somewhat challenging factors. What's important?

Family care

At the top of my list is fammily care. Establishing and supporting good patterns of family care is top priority for me. That begins with being attuned to what your family members need, want and desire, then doing what you can to support that. For me that spells cooking good meals, helping out with household tasks, supporting professional efforts, celebrations and more. In the days ahead there are doctor's appointments, house projects, get togethers, problem solving celebrations to attend to.

Personal care

To make time to care for our own health and well being is essential to being there for others. For each of us that translates into positive routines, good relationships and passion/interest based efforts.

Contribution

What we do to contribute to others in meaningful ways definitely brings life meaning. Engaging in efforts that add value, joy, sustenance and care to the people and places around you is an important priority.

Lifelong learning

It's important to continue to learn, update, revise as needed. There's many ways to do this and this is an another important aspect of a healthy life.

Happiness, joy, good times

Engaging in good times brings joy and happiness to life. Planning regular, joyful, happy events gives us something to look forward to and brings life happiness.
