I've read post after post on social media that complains about problems that exist in our culture right now, and with regard to some of those complaint threads, the complaining is getting old, monotonous, and tiresome.
Yet, I have empathy for the complainers. I've been there. In life I've experienced times when I complained a lot. During each of those periods, I've felt oppressed and powerless. It took a heap of complaining before I found my way to the kind of action that bettered the situation.
As I thought about this today, I thought of a current situation that I complain a lot about, and rather than complain, I challenged myself to think about how I might work to solve the problem.
Complaining tends ot be a first step on the path to resolution, if you stop there, no one will listen to you anymore, but instead, if you take the time to think deeply about what it is your complaining about, and then challenge yourself to work with others to solve the problem, then you'll be on the right track.
Look into your complaints and then work for resolution. Onward.
