 When you travel and recreate in healthy ways, you feel so much better. How can you plan for healthy travel and recreation. 

Healthy activity

Include healthy activity in every plan. Do the research before hand, pack accordinglly and make sure that there's at least one healthy activity everyday.

Good, healthy, nutritious foods

Eating well when traveling helps to make a trip enjoyable. Research the restaurants ahead of time so that you choose healthy locations. Also bring along a number of healthy snacks. Avoid the junk food. 

Rest

Plan for adequate rest. There's nothing like exhaustion for ruining a great time--good rest spells an energized, positive good time. 

Preparation

Planning for a good time by making sure you have a good itineary as well as the equipment, clothing and food you need also helps to make any travel or recreation healthy and fun. 

Collaboration

Check in with those you are traveling with to make sure you're all on the same page with regard to food, activity, rest and more. Having a good loose-tight game plan helps as well.
