As I considered life choices and efforts, I found myself looking in multiple directions until I realized that the work I'm meant to do right now is staring me in the face--clearly it's the work of family care and support. That's the most important job right now. In some ways this single focus on family feels a bit selfish after years of working for multiple other families and organizations, but when I think deeply about my very big family and friend group, I have an endlist list of good work to do--that's the focus now.
