Life is hard enough without the oppressive, hateful, destructive effects of bullies. Bullies the world over take more than their share and spend their days finding ways to spread hate, oppression, bigotry, harm, hurt and death. The world is tired of bullies. Who are these bullies and how can they be stopped?
Bullies use their power in thoughtless, unempathetic, hateful, hurtful ways great and small. Throughout time one focus of child development and care has been to teach children how not to bully one another and how to deal with the bullying that exists.
Bullies use weapons, might, words, money and action to harm people--essentially they step on people with their cronies snuffing the life out of some or greatly hurting others physically and/or emotionally. These bullies are often self-serving propagandists who spread lies, exaggeration, false narratives to prop up their power, pleasure, profit and protection.
All over the world we have to counter bullying behavior to protect and better lives. How can we do that?
Information/Internet Laws and Policies
During this information age, we have to create and spread laws and policies that counter heinous propaganda, lies, exaggeration and false narratives. The fact that many of the world's bullies are able to use media channels to bully, oppress, harm and hurt others is a real problem. For me, one of the greatest examples of this hateful bullying is the example of El Paso where a deranged youth took Donald Trump's constant barrage of insults, hate, lies and oppressive statements to heart when he massacred multiple innocent people in Walmart. Trump has blood on his hands for that massacre and many other hateful acts in the United States.
Prevention of Crimes Against Humanity
When world leaders enact crimes against humanity they can be held accountable in international courts, but we have to find ways to prevent these crimes against humanity and hold leaders of these crimes accountable before they enact their heinous, deadly plans. World leaders have to get together to create new laws to hold world leaders accountable to protect lives, forward good living, and protect our planet too.
Reduce Weaponry
Throughout the world we have to reduce deadly weaponry--the kind of weaponry that gives bullies easy access to death and destruction.
Tax the Wealthy
The most wealthy individuals in the world should have to pay great international taxes to protect the planet and promote good living. It is no longer fair that some should have gobs of money while others cannot even afford to feed their children. I know that there will never be absolute equality, but we need to put standards into place that forward good living for all--standards that protect the planet and assure a fair standard of living for all.
Eliminate Bigoted, Racist Laws
We cannot judge people because of their race, culture, religion, gender, lifestyle or any other factor of who they are and how they live. Instead we need to preserve the kind of freedom that allows every individual to live their best lives as long as they don't bully and oppress others.
I believe the world can move towards life where our common currency is care for one another. I believe that the world holds enough resources to forward good living for all. It will never be perfect, but it can be a lot better. We cannot stand by and watch bullies oppress, harm, hurt and kill the world's people simply to prop up their personal wealth and power. We can do better.
