The world's evil

Evil is repulsive, frightening, hateful, deadly, and wasteful.

For the most part, I don't believe most people are evil, yet everyone plays a role when it comes to supporting or working against evil great and small.

Clearly, Putin is displaying an intense level of evil as he destroys communities and harms/kills individuals including innocent children. Putin and his cronies are unleashing a level of evil that is impacting all of us--rather than use his power to build better and uplift lives, he's destroying so many good lives and wonderful potential. The world has to find ways to end this kind of evil sooner than later.

So much of Putin's evil as well as Trump's evil has its roots in greed. These are men who appear to do whatever they want to raise their personal wealth and power--men who show little care or concern for humanity. They are not alone--the world has many of these evil, self-serving individuals who promote great hate, harm, death, and destruction. As a people we have to work to end this kind of evil before it reaches the levels of destruction Putin is demonstrating now. What can we do?

First, every one of us has to take a deep look at our own lives to make sure we're not supporting evil in any way. The choices we make, the money we spend, the people we support matter--if we aren't mindful about that, we may find that we support evil in some ways. We have to work against that.

Then, we have to get active in our communities in ways that promote the good, not the evil. We have to support the people and organizations that promote greater good, and we have to make time to support those people and organizations in positive ways too.

There's enough challenge, death, and destruction that occurs naturally--that's difficult enough to deal with, and we don't have to add to that by knowingly supporting people, organizations, and actions that are hateful, deadly, and evil.

We need to do the good we can do to build a peaceful, positive world. Onward.
