There's a right place for everyone and everything

Sometimes you may end up with good people in a wrong place. It may be the wrong place because of timing or venue. Right people, wrong place--what do you do?

As much as possible it is good to find those just right matches for people, places, and timing. For example a 9 p.m. dinner for my 90+ parents would never be a good match. Similarly it's rarely good timing to have a mid day dinner with children who are usually adventuring midday somewhere. Right timing and right venue makes for a positive event.

In the same way that there is right timing for people and places there's right conversation too. On an enjoyable outing, you typically don't want to bog down the good time with heavy speak or conversation, but with some friends that kind of conversation may be just right. That depends on many factors. Similarly the more you know people, the more you understand conversation topics that are sensitive for them--topics you need to tread gently around.

Making the time to match places, venues, people, conversation in positive ways leads you to the good times and connections possible. That's a positive aim. Onward.
