There are so many ways to work for a better world? Focusing on the good we can do and the bad we can avoid is a good starting point. What can you do?
Working from the inside out
Working for better often profits from working from the inside out. What personal habits, mindsets, and routines can you change for the better? How can you be your best self for others? And, how can you help the people in your midst thrive--what can you do with them and for them to make better?
Contribution
In what ways can you increasingly contribute more to the greater world and the greater good? How you spend your time and money matters in this regard. There are limitless ways to contribute to make better, and as you spend your time and money, it's important to consider what you support and why. As I think more specifically about this, I want to think about these questions.
- Can I change my budget so that I am supporting organizations and individuals who are truly investing in betterment in substantial, positive ways?
- As I audit how I spend my time and money, what will I change so that I'm not supporting individuals and organizations that contribute to heartache, harm, death of innocents, and destruction of loving communities and the planet in any way? How can I stay more informed of what's happening throughout the community and world more to help me make best possible decisions.
- How might I simplify my life to make more space for positive effort and contribution?
How might I hone my advocacy in ways that help me use my words, time, and effort to better support individuals, organizations, and efforts that create betterment?
