Spring, the season of hope, is here!

Spring has sprung. Green is budding throughout the wetlands nearby. Spring is the season of hope.

I'm filled with a hopeful outlook for the spring, summer, and fall ahead for many reasons.

Weddings and other celebrations

There are many celebrations planned for the weeks ahead. There are birthdays, weddings, graduations, and anniversaries. I want to bring good cheer and grace to these very special events.

Family reunions

We have a couple of family reunion meet-ups this summer too. They are low key affairs where people who want to come are invited to show up and partake in an outdoor adventure.

Gardening

It's time to work on those indoor seedlings as I ready for the garden. It's also a good time to turn over the compost and ready the new soil for the outdoor garden.

Family history project and holiday gift making

I hope to dig into the my family history to make a few holiday gifts based on those facts, photos, and stories.

Advocacy

I'll continue to advocate for sensible gun laws, child tax credit, fair, accessible voting, updating/supporting public schools, conservation of natural resources, positive warm and welcoming communities, and an international focus on doing what's best for children which, in turn, will be best for all of us.

Health

A focus on healthy living supports good living.

Time to get started on the good that's possible. Onward.
