Last year at this time I believe I was lamenting the lack of teamwork for a project I'm involved in, and then yesterday I was remarking about the great teamwork in place now. Why the change?
For a large part, I believe that many of us were embarking on a project we didn't know a lot about. People were trying to do their best, but our "bests" differed greatly from one another. Now a year later, we've learned a lot, and our collaboration is far better.
This experience makes me realize that we have to expect an adjustment period in any new endeavor. We can't expect to simply jump in feet first and all will go well. New endeavor takes time, and there's no way around it. Onward.
