It's discouraging to live at a time when too many in our government work against our rights and good living. There are simply too many in leadership roles the world over who work for their ego, wealth, power, and privilege more than humanity and common good. These self-serving, greedy, evil doers have always existed, and it's been the focus of good people throughout time to thwart their deadly ways in favor of what is right and good for all.
What can we do with this discouragement? In every way, we have to contribute to the kind of good living that's possible in our lives and the lives of others in every way that we can. We also have to do what we can to counter the evil that exists--how can we take down and hold back the evil doers that work selfishly for their own power, privilege, pleasure, protection, and profit?
To live and work for what's best for all of us is a good way to live--that's the direction to take in ways great and small, in ways that you can. Onward.
