So far this summer has been marked by constant change. Seems there's hardly a moment when there's not a new event, experience, upset or change on the horizon. This will be anything but a routine summer and I've given up trying to make all the pieces fit, instead my theme is to roll with it with as much positivity and peace as possible.
Why all the changes? Well, it's a matter of being one of a very large family and friend group filled with people who are mostly in changing patterns related to jobs, homes, interests, relationships, needs and more. Is this a result of COVID? I'd say mostly no, but more a result of where we are generationally--about fifteen years ago, life had more of a rhythm to it given the ages of most of the family's children, people's homes and jobs, but since then those young children have grown up and mostly graduated from high school. They are spreading their wings in multiple directions creating a great flutter of activity, most of it exciting and also hard to keep up with (why even try except for the intrigue and vibrancy most of it adds to life).
So let the kaleidoscope of life's events occur and keep as my focal point positivity and peace. Onward.
