I've lost relationships due to Trumpism. My disdain, disagreement, disrespect for all things Trump have severed a few relationships. The relationships ended because a few friends regard Trump with great reverence and allegiance.
What I've read and studied demonstrates to me that Trump is an evil, self-serving, hateful man that fosters the worst of what life can be in our country and world. His lies, his sloth, his disrespect, his hate and bigotry create a great wall that obstructs good living for too many. Trump had great power as the President of the United States, and rather than do what was right and good for our country, he allowed his ego alone to rule in ways that propped up his family and cronies while dividing the country in dangerous, destructive, and deadly ways. To support Trump and his cronies, is to support greater harm and hurt for people throughout the world. This is wrong.
Yet, what if Trump is right. What if the few friends that support Trump as a great savior and leader are right--what if I'm wrong.
If people can prove to me that Trump's life choices and activities have actually enriched and uplifted lives rather than harmed, hurt, and ended lives, I would accept that. I'm one person. I can be wrong at times, and when I'm wrong, I accept that, make amends, and move forward.
It's hard to believe that Trump could be right since there's plenty of evidence that points to his utter evil and contempt for almost every living being on Earth.
To live our best lives, we have to elect the best leaders--leaders who promote the best of whom we can be and what we can do. Onward.
