I'm readying to attend our first family reunion of the summer. We have several of these meet-ups planned this summer. These reunions are a chance to see one another and enjoy activities we've engaged in throughout our lives.
The first reunion is a hiking reunion for my siblings and their loved ones. We've rented a host of homes in a beautiful mountain village. We'll share a meal, go for a hike and explore the area together over a few days.
As usual, some we expected to come, won't be able to make it, and there will likely be some new people to meet too. When you have a large family, it's almost impossible to make plans that everyone can make, but we do our best to choose a date that works for most family members.
Establishing this tradition helps to keep our family close. We'll see what new stories and adventures this reunion brings. Onward.
