How can we work against hateful, deadly, dehumanizing white supremacy?

How can the everyday person work against hateful, deadly, dehumanizing White supremacy--the kind of supremacy that frightens people, harms people, kills people and obstructs the amazing potential we hold for good living. What can we do?

Don't hire white supremacists

Before hiring anyone to do any work on your home, in your yard or with your organization, do an online search and have a conversation with the people you are thinking of hiring--do not hire those who support White Supremacy in any way.

Don't support White Supremacy actions in any way

Rethink your relationships with white supremacists--don't simply sit by and let them promote their hateful, dehumanizing behaviors and threats. There are quiet, creative ways to make their Supremacy ways uncomfortable and impossible. Think about what you can do when they are in your midst that are peaceful, quiet ways to obstruct their hateful behavior. It could be as simple as not delivering their hateful weaponry or uniforms.

Do not serve white supremacists

If you are a service worker of any kind, you don't have to serve white supremacists--you don't have to cut their hair, paint their toes, be their trainers, clean their houses, serve them food, babysit their children or any other kind of service--to serve them is to spread white supremacy.

Find ways to spread the peace

These supremacists who are mostly white men are harming our society in countless ways via their deadly, dangerous actions as well as the inaction they are responsible for, inaction related to all the good that's possible. In our families and communities, find ways to spread the peace rather than the hate--look for peaceful, legal ways to obstruct and end hate and peaceful, legal means to spread the good possible.
