Dreamwork: What do you want that you don't have, and why do you want it?

When creating your dreams, one way to think about it is to list what you don't have that you want. For example, perhaps you want something special for your home or a particular experience in life. You can make that part of your dream plan, then figure out a way to obtain the desired objects or experiences. Many of us desire ways of being rather than specific objects or experiences. We may desire to be more loving, forgiving, compassionate, carefree, energetic and more. Whatever those ways of being are that you desire can become part of your dream plan.

As I reroute my dream plan, I'm beginning with what it is that I want that I don't currently have. What mindsets, ways of being, objects, and experiences do I hope for?

Experiences

Honestly, there are few experiences I'm hungering for right now, but I know my loved ones have some experiences they want to partake in, so I'll likely add their desired experiences to my list, as more than anything, I like to be with my loved ones in places they enjoy and with activities they love to do.

Mindset/Ways of Being

This is the area I want to reroute the most. I've been used to a mindset and way of being that had a lot to do with childhood family and my career as an educator. Those roles are past now, and it's time to reroute my direction in this sphere. I look forward to this work.

Objects

Mainly, I want to get rid of as many material things as I can. I want to live with few things as I don't want to have to take care of things since I like time and experiences more than objects. That said, there's a few items I'd like to update my home to make it more warm and welcoming. The items aren't extravagant, but will make a bit more space and comfort for family gatherings.

Knowing what you want is the first step to achieving your dreams, and sometimes identifying what you want that you don't have is a good starting point. Onward.
