When people's choices make no sense

People make all kinds of choices in life, and unless those choices are truly harmful, I'm really working at accepting the many various ways that people live and choose. That's not always easy.

As I listen to people's stories about their choices, I find that there are many stories that represent ways of living so different from what I choose. Yet, those choices do not harm others, but simply demonstrate different priorities than mine. I'm sure people feel the same way about me when I speak of my choices and priorities. While many of us choose similarly in some ways, we also choose differently in other ways.

So, I'll take a curious attitude towards this diversity. I'll likely learn of some choices that appeal to me and inspire me to make some new choices in life, and I'll likely hear of some choices that I'll never choose. There's plenty of room for diversity of living and choices in life, and I want to respect that. Onward.
