The daily problem

Every day there is at least one problem to solve. These problems arise from the vast arena of life's events that I have little control over. The problems make up the bumpy, somewhat unpredictable landscape of my life these days. Most of these problems are bumps not hills or mountains, but instead bumps in the road that make me slow down and consider the choices at hand.

Recognizing this bumpy path is the first step with regard to navigating the landscape well. It will be bumpy as this is a somewhat uncharted path, but I'm not alone. There are many experts who can help and guide me. Recognizing who is there to help and who is not is also essential as I navigate this path--it's good to embrace and support the helpers and stay clear of those that make the path more difficult.

I wish I had a bit more control with regard to being able to predict the daily problems or even better prevent the daily problems, but given the nature of the situation at hand, that's not possible. So I'll travel this path with an open, flexible mind, positivity, and a focus on doing the best I can in a positive, productive way. Onward.
