What investments do you make with the long road ahead in mind? I've been thinking about this recently as I consider the myriad of choices available in life with regard to how you spend your time, dollars, energy, and capacity. While a serendipitous investment now and then brings some spark to your life, in general, it's best to invest in what will bring young long road joy and happiness.
Looking out, I want our family to enjoy celebratory events over time, hence I'll invest in a few items that make those events special, warm, and welcoming. We'll use those objects time and again. Thus, a good investment.
The same goes for the activities I choose. I want to choose those events that build good living for the long run--events that are healthy, inspiring, positive, and rich when it comes to good living.
Making investments for yourself and others that enrich life today and into the future is a good investment. Onward.
