Today I'm focused in part on holiday gifts--what small gifts will I give to those I love and care about? In general, I don't like to give gifts that are easily lost, tossed, or disregarded. I don't like to waste money that way, and I don't have the big bucks to buy significant items that truly change a person's life. Instead, I'll focus on the following types of gifts.
Experiences
The gift of a great experience is truly a good gift. A great experience is something people can look forward to, enjoy, and remember for a lifetime, so some of my gifts will involve positive experiences.
Something to unwrap
It's fun to unwrap a gift, so I'll likely purchase a few needed and nice items for people to unwrap at the holidays.
Toys
Of course I'll pick up a few toys and other recreational items especially for the children in my life--the children bring great joy to the holidays, and the holidays should bring great joy to the children.
Contribution
I'll determine a number of areas to contribute small amounts of money to--organizations that do the good work I believe in, work that empowers humanity in meaningful, significant ways.
Onward.
