Every year the "stage" for holiday joy looks a little bit different depending on who will share the celebrations with us and what we will do.
This year the stage includes a few more presents since there's a lot of people we want to acknowledge in a special way--the presents are relatively small, but hopefully meaningful to those who receive the gifts. We want to use those small gifts to say, we know you, we love you, we want the best for you.
The holiday stage includes many long held treasured decorations as well as a few new and colorful ornaments.
The food will include lots of healthy foods and some sweets too, and we'll make the time to clean the house and prepare space so that people feel good.
Most of all, I don't want the holiday to be harried, but instead relaxed, warm, and welcoming. Now it's time to get busy to set that holiday stage. Onward.
