Closure

As I thought about life's many changes in the past ten years, I realized that it's time to put closure on many past aspects of life. It's time to move on to new arenas of life.

How do we put closure on past events?

Write a summary

One way to put closure is to write a short summary of that chapter, event, or person--highlight the important aspects and capsulate the life lessons learned. Also note what you'll take forward from that experience to life's new adventures.

Make a book

You may want to create a scrap book or digital file of that person, event, or chapter of life--something that you can look back on and share with others when desired.

We can't move forward if we cling too tightly to the past, but we can let the best of the past inform and empower our future. Onward.
