When I look back at some of the accomplishments I am most proud of in life, I realize that the key ingredient was love. In general, these accomplishments were done with others in mind, and what fueled the energy, courage, and efforts it took to complete the tasks was simply lots of love and some imagination too. While working on the tasks, I was always imagining how my loved ones would react and what they would gain from the experience.
When we are deeply in love with others, we will work beyond our greatest expectations as love creates tremendous energy within us. The same is true when we work for ideas we love and are passionate about. When an idea or dream is born in us, we will work with great, positive energy to make that dream and idea come to fruition.
So as I think about the projects I want to complete, I have to make that love connection to energize my best efforts. For example, when I entertain people I deeply love, I love readying the house, preparing the food, setting the table, and hosting my loved ones. My love for family and friends fuels my efforts.
When I procrastinate, I haven't made the love connection, and to take a few minutes to match the task with an idea, dream, or person, I love will certainly empower the effort.
If we connect our tasks with love, we will energize and complete those tasks in positive ways. Onward.
