When you listen to people's stories, you hear their priorities--what matters most to them. As I thought about my life in contrast to the many varied ways one can live life, I thought about what I've prioritized over time. What we do is who we are, and what we do most equals what we prioritize.
It's good to consider those priorities regularly, and it's good to entertain the possibility of other priorities too. We can sometimes be rooted to a path that takes us down a road that's not as good as another road so we have to think often about where we are going and why we're headed there.
