Wrong turns; right turns

As we travel life's path, we make some wrong turns and some right turns. Often the wrong turns are not purposeful, but instead circumstantial because you don't know better. And once we become aware that the turn is a dead end, we change course.

When you think about life's right turns, what comes to mind? To me, these are some of the right turns I've taken:

  • Putting family first
  • Nurturing relationships
  • Fostering healthy routines
  • Learning more and better
  • Contributing to the greater good
Wrong turns I've taken have usually included these elements:
  • Inflexibility, closed-mindset
  • Need to listen more
  • Trusting too much too early
  • Overshare
  • Sometimes a lack of respect and reverence for life's many, varied paths
As we live our lives, it's helpful to think about right turns and wrong turns, and it's also helpful to discuss this with trusted friends as that helps out to navigate the road of life with greater awareness, positivity, and strength.

What are the attributes of your right turns; and what are the attributes of your wrong turns? Onward.
