Life after Trump

Trump's hateful, deadly, wasteful criminal impact on society will not die easily. After all he has a lot of greedy, corrupt kids and likely messed up grandkids too. He's been spewing hate, lies, and propaganda on the national stage for years now, and those of us who believe in an honest, just, inclusive, people-centered government have been traumatized by this. How could the United States allow such a corrupt man to be President and to garner so much attention?

Now, it seems that Trump's days of hate/violence-inciting abuse may be nearing an end. His freak show will continue as he faces one charge after another, but as evidenced by the small show of support in New York, his fan base will continue to dwindle as they realize how Trump used and abused them for his own gain alone. He didn't care about his fans--he used them and abused them in multiple ways by not doing his part as a just, fair member of society, the kind of citizen who pays his fair share of taxes, obeys the laws, and works for the best interests of the United States and ALL the people who live here.

I'm looking forward to life after Trump which I hope will be a time when we can focus as a country on improving ALL lives and building a strong, sustainable country that gets along well with the people and nations of the world. I hope we can move towards greater worldwide harmony as we face the great challenges such as climate change, migration issues, and evil leaders/governments together.

It's been the right thing to rail against Trump all these years. Those of us who knew early on that he was a fool like the "Emperor with No Clothes" and evil like Hitler did the right thing when it came to speaking out and standing up for justice rather than rallying behind Trump, the evil fool. And, those of us who distanced ourselves from Trump supporters after giving it a good try to change their minds and alliances also did what was right--we can't support those who don't support justice. Instead we have to partner with others who are working for justice too. Yet, I'll be the first to forgive and forget with friends who now understand Trump's evil and are willing to move away from such devastating corruption and crime.

Life after Trump will spell a better USA and a better world. It will send a message to all the world over that evil does not pay and justice will prevail. That's a good aim to work for. Onward.
