I love projects, and like many people, I'm in the midst of a host of positive projects. The challenge is how to prioritize those projects and keep the momentum going. Reflecting on the project work helps a lot in this regard.
What projects are you in the midst of, and what are those projects valuable to you and others in your world?
The garden
The garden brings beauty and nourishment to my friends and family. I learn a lot about life and world around me via gardening as well. This is a year-long project that gets steady attention.
Family
I'm a big believer in the strength that loving family ties bring to life. I consider your "family" the people you are closest to and the people you desire to nurture, care for, and spend time with regularly. I'm committed to the kinds of family ties that give people room to be themselves while also making time for collaborative endeavor and support. I believe that creating strong family ties takes commitment, understanding, open-mindedness, compromise, and respect.
Advocacy
I spend time advocating for good living for all--I believe in a world that works together towards that algorithm that results in the best possible living for all people. I define good living as living with the following elements: nourishing food, clean water, clean air, clean soil, access to optimal health care, quality education, warm and welcoming homes, peaceful communities, positive recreation and endeavor, an abundance of beautiful natural spaces, and the freedom to live the life you choose as long as you don't harm others.
Family history
I believe that the more you understand your history, the better you are able to live in the present. That's why I'm committed to the family history project which outlines our family history story.
Cooking
I love the creativity involved in cooking delicious foods, and I love the happiness and health that brings to the people I love.
Warm and welcoming home
I enjoy working with my husband to create a warm and welcoming home to share with those we love.
Those are my main projects at the moment. I'm sure that there will be others in the future. Onward.
