| I support the Biden-Harris team. |
I am supporting Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for a second term as President and Vice President for the following reasons.
Dignity: Both Harris and Biden have led with dignity. This dignity is contagious and uplifts us as a people and country. I honor that.
Consistent, Honest Work: Harris and Biden were not focused on propping up their personal wealth, power, privilege, pleasure, and protection throughout their first years as President and Vice President. Instead they were steadfast public servants working day in and day out for all of the American people. To simply compare Trump's days on the golf course versus Biden's days of pleasure is to clearly see that Biden is an honorable public servant, while Trump used the Presidency to simply prop up his personal fame/gain.
Successful, Collaborative Team: If you remember Trump filled his Presidential team with friends and family members. He chose people who would do his bidding, people who were corrupt like him and used their offices and high salaries to use and abuse the American people. Instead Biden filled his Presidential team with experienced, collaborative, intelligent, hard working, diverse public servants. The fact that Biden has created an awesome leadership team is a big reason why he's a successful President of the United States.
Bidens Wins: Check out the Twitter feed @Bidenswins and take a look at all the good work the Biden administration has done for the American people. It's one positive action after another--too many to name them all by memory.
International Respect: Biden and Harris are respected the world over. Good leaders all over the world know that they are an honest, people-centered team who cares about what the world needs in order to promote good living everywhere.
Good Values: The Biden-Harris ticket represents good values. They are not focused on self-serving corruption, bigotry, and crime like the Trump team. Instead they represent human dignity and good values.
Focus: To engage in choosing a new leader and then to undergo the time and effort it takes for a new person to be put in place will simply stall the good work possible. Let Biden and Harris finish the job, and also begin to look for a terrific Presidential team for 2028.
An Older Leader is Often a Wiser Leader: Many cite Biden's age as a reason why he shouldn't run for office. Obviously as we age, age is a factor, but as Biden says, he's proved his worthy leadership. He's a smart leader who knows that a great team is his greatest asset. So he can focus on using his experience and wisdom to lead with a terrific group of energized, experienced, intelligent, collaborative public servants. And should something happen to Biden, Harris will have the experience and outlook to lead the country forward.
At this moment, I'm putting my support behind the Biden-Harris team because I want them to finish the job they've started. I sent them a small donation this morning to signify this support. The United States is still repairing from the corruption of the Trump years--we need to fully clean up the government from that period of lawlessness and crime. We can do this. Onward.
