Everyday agenda

 What's on your everyday agenda? What activities do you engage in no matter what else is happening? I thought about this today as I've had an agenda with an ever-changing schedule this year. It seems like everyday presents a new challenge and opportunity, and as I navigate this eventful schedule, I want to make sure that my schedule includes these essential items. 

Positivity

As much as possible I want to bring a positive attitude towards life. There will be good and bad days, but it's my choice to be as positive as I can be. 

Healthy habits

There are definitely ways to energize your days with healthy habits including good skin care (especially for those of us prone to skin cancer), healthy breakfast, lots of veggies and healthy protein, few to no processed foods, exercise, and contribution--the kind of contribution that contributes to a positive world. 

Listening, presence, response

Being present for those we love and care for is essential and that presence includes good listening and apt response.

Comfort

When we're comfortable, we tend to be our best selves. 

Patience

Rushing leads to problems. As they say, "haste makes waste." So take your time and be patient.

Room for error

Schedule events in ways that leave room for error. Leave a bit early for appointments. Prevent rushing as much as possible. 

Humility

To be humble brings life great strength and capacity.

Physical/Mental Fitness

Make time to keep your body and mind strong, fit, and flexible. 

Observe

Make time to observe the world around you and respond accordingly. 

I'll likely add to this list in time. Yet as our schedules change, there are essential items we have to attend to everyday. Onward.
