I want to see a Democratic majority in the House of Representatives and a Democratic majority in the Senate after the 2024 election. I want this Democratic majority because I want to see Congress pass legislation related to reproductive rights, sensible gun laws, support for high quality public education and health care, and fair taxation.
I believe we can create the kind of country that uplifts everyone's ability to live a good life, and I believe that Republicans in Congress are wasting a lot of time and money as they promote a number of bogus efforts based only on their self-serving, bigoted aim to empower a few while leaving too many Americans behind when it comes to good living.
One way to support the desire for a Democratic majority is to get out the vote, and that's why I'm joining Vote Forward's efforts to get out the vote. If we encourage more people to vote, we'll better support a Congress that works for all Americans, not just a wealthy few. We can do this.
